Rare and very local (only found at one locality in Forsyth collection) in terra firme forest (close match to type specimen); in Brazil, occurs in serrana habitat from 800 to 1200 m
Trophic strategy:
Habits unknown. Only captured in flight intercept traps. Morphology of the genus Anomiopus suggests an association with ant nests
